Hi, I’m Ruby! I’m a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and mom dedicated to helping mothers feel informed, prepared, and confident throughout their breastfeeding journey.
Through Nurtured by Ruby, I create a warm, judgment-free space where you can learn about breastfeeding, prepare for the early days, ask questions, and feel supported when things don’t go as expected.
My goal is simple: to help you feel heard, empowered, and nurtured because your breastfeeding journey belongs to you.

Breastfeeding Support
Free breastfeeding support and education for Oklahoma families, including a 24/7 hotline staffed by International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs). Call 1-877-271-6455 or text OK2BF to 61222.
Free, judgment-free breastfeeding support from trained volunteer Leaders who have breastfed their own babies. Get one-on-one guidance, connect with other parents, and find encouragement and information throughout your breastfeeding journey. Meetings are free, and children are welcome.
Provides safe, pasteurized donor human milk for premature and medically fragile babies. Families can learn about donating breast milk, accessing donor milk, and supporting the milk bank’s mission.
Family & Basic Needs
Provides emergency assistance to families with children from birth to age 4, including diapers, formula, food, clothing, wipes, and other essential baby supplies. Services are available in Oklahoma City and through the BabyMobile program.
Provides home visiting services, parenting education, and family support to help parents create safe, nurturing environments for their children.
Maternal Wellness
Free, confidential, 24/7 support for pregnant and postpartum mothers. Trained mental health professionals offer emotional support, help with concerns, and referrals to additional care. Support is available in English and Spanish.
Family Safety
Helps parents and caregivers keep children safe through car seat safety checks, safety education, and injury prevention programs. Families can connect with certified technicians to have their car seats checked and learn how to use them correctly.
Explore trusted, evidence-based information on creating a safe sleep environment for your baby, reducing the risk of sleep-related infant deaths, and helping parents and caregivers make informed choices.
Additional Learning Resources
Learn about the first hours of breastfeeding, including how to recognize feeding cues, help your baby latch, support milk production, and practice hand expression. This resource offers practical, evidence-based breastfeeding education to help parents feel more prepared for their baby's arrival.

Oklahoma Breastfeeding Laws & Rights
Know your rights as a breastfeeding mother in Oklahoma. Oklahoma law protects your right to breastfeed in public places where you are authorized to be. Certain state and federal laws also provide workplace protections for breastfeeding employees, including break time and private space to express breast milk.
